About Taz
Taz is a sharp, lively dog who just finished the STAR Inmate Training Program where he mastered basic obedience. About 2 years old, this large black Australian Kelpie mix spent his early days chained up for chasing after local cats—so he’s looking for a home without cats or small animals. Around other dogs, Taz is friendly and outgoing, and he has a strong bond with his people. If you want a companion who listens well, enjoys living life to the fullest, and is ready to be part of the family, Taz checks all those boxes. He’s vaccinated, neutered, and house trained, plus he actually loves learning new things. Taz is ready for someone who will let him be the loyal, enthusiastic dog he was meant to be. Fun fact: Taz, born July 5th, is a Cancer, so you’ll notice he’s both loyal and sensitive at heart. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
