About Ginger

Ginger is a small Patterdale Terrier mix at about a year and a half old, full of energy and heart. She was abandoned while pregnant, left to fend for herself near a lake, and gave birth under a thorn bush to eight puppies even though she was barely more than a puppy herself. Ginger proved herself as a fiercely devoted mother, ensuring every puppy survived and made it to a loving home. Now, Ginger finally gets her chance. She’s completed the STAR Inmate Training Program, so she knows her basic obedience and picks up on things quickly. Ginger thrives with another playful dog companion and quickly becomes loyal and affectionate when she trusts you. Expect a high-spirited, playful side and plenty of affection in return—Ginger really shines when she feels at home. She gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making her a great fit for a wide range of families. Ginger’s a Capricorn, and true to the sign, she’s resilient, loyal, and ready to share her big-hearted love with her new people. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
