Meet Azula, a tuxedo girl with a tough exterior and a soft heart underneath. She likes to act like her trust is hard earned, but honestly, it only takes a Churu or two to win her over. When Azula was first trapped and brought into the shelter, she was understandably very upset. Trapped as part of a wary colony of tuxedo girls, Azula learned that acting tough helped keep her safe outside. She still greets new people with an intimidating little growly noise, but it’s mostly for show, she doesn’t truly mean it. Underneath that guarded shell is a sweet, affectionate cat who’s slowly learning that she no longer has to protect herself all the time. Watching her let her walls down, one Churu at a time, has been incredibly rewarding.
