About Poppy

Poppy is a rare female orange tabby, which is a special find since most orange tabbies are male. After her mother passed away, she and her siblings were bottle-fed and raised by a dedicated foster. Poppy acts just like a kitten should: she’s quick to chase, pounce, and wrestle, and she tears across the house chasing toys and laser pointers. She’s always up for scaling a cat tree or observing the outside world from a window. Once the play ends, she’ll curl up content on your lap or settle in while you work or watch TV. Poppy is drawn to attention, loves affection, and gets along well with her siblings and with friendly, small dogs. She’s affectionate, friendly, and happiest with company—human or feline. For her well-being, Poppy should go to a home with another young cat (under three years) or be adopted with one of her siblings from the same rescue. She’s fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV and FeLV negative, and treated for fleas and worms. She’s healthy, playful, and ready for her next chapter with a loving family.
