Bubbles Washington, born on 10/20/2024—yes, both names are required, and yes, he fully lives up to them—is a resilient, endlessly loving, character full of personality. He’s the kind of cat who turns ordinary moments into something joyful—and who will happily remind you, several times a day, that it’s time to stop what you’re doing and cuddle. Adopted as a tiny kitten in spring 2025 and recently returned to us in spring 2026, this chubby tuxedo gentleman has come back with even more love to give. We like to think of it as a “gap year” in his journey—because Washington Bubbles is clearly meant for a forever family that will truly appreciate his one-of-a-kind charm. And charm he has in abundance. This bubbly, silly, happy-go-lucky boy has perfected the art of getting exactly what he wants (which is usually…you). His signature move? A dramatic flop onto his back, belly proudly on display, followed by the most irresistible air biscuits you’ve ever seen—all while gazing up at you with pure adoration. It’s impossible to say no. Truly. One of his eyes is a little wonky from a rough start in kittenhood, but if anything, it just adds to his undeniable character. Washington Bubbles doesn’t just look at you—he locks in with that sweet, slightly offbeat gaze and steals your heart on the spot. He’s also a survivor. After overcoming a life-threatening urinary blockage, he now needs to stay on a strict prescription diet to keep bladder stones at bay. It’s a small commitment for a cat who gives back tenfold in affection, laughter, and companionship. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason. Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. Â At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
