Barbos gets along well with both cats and children, and is known for his gentle, affectionate nature and striking black and white coat.
About Barbos
Barbos had a rough start after being left behind by his original family and trying to fit in with street cats, but his gentle nature just wasnāt suited for that world. When approached, he didnāt hesitateāhe walked right into a carrier, off to a new chapter. Barbos is estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old, now neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV. Heās FeLV negative, but does live with FIV. That hasnāt slowed him down; FIV is manageable, and Barbos is living proof. He needed a lot of dental work and lost sixteen teeth, but heās recovered well and is more comfortable than ever. Barbos is the textbook definition of an affectionate cat. He truly loves attention and people, greets visitors eagerly, and soaks up every bit of affection. He gets along well with other cats and children and needs a home where heāll be loved in returnāno more abandonment in his future. Barbos is being fostered in Brooklyn, but transport can be arranged throughout NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey. Your new best friend is just one click away.
