Meet Kira Kira is a loyal, shy, and incredibly smart girl who is slowly learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. New things can make her nervous at first, but every single day she gains a little more confidence and lets more of her sweet personality shine through. Once Kira trusts you, she absolutely LOVES her people and just wants to be near them. This gentle girl is kid friendly, dog friendly, and cat friendly as well! She enjoys going for walks, although sometimes her nervousness can make it harder for her to fully relax at first. With patience, love, and reassurance, she settles in beautifully. Kira is very treat motivated and takes treats so gently, making her a wonderful dog to continue building confidence and training with. Kira is pretty much house trained, though she may still have an occasional accident while adjusting. She does well in her kennel once inside, though she appreciates a little treat encouragement to help her get in. She's also still learning her manners and can be a bit curious, sometimes climbing on things just to investigate what's going on. Her favorite things include treats, naps, sunshine, and spending time with her humans.
