About Ilya
Kittens do seem to get most of nature’s cuteness quota, and Ilya is no exception. He’s got that irresistible mix of playful mischief and purring sweetness—watching his tiny zoomies never gets old. After tearing around the room, he’ll suddenly plop down for a quick nap, then bounce right back into action. Like most kittens, he’s happiest with a companion his own age, though it’s not required for adoption. Ilya was born with a spinal defect that left his back legs paralyzed, but he doesn’t let that hold him back. He moves independently and loves to play, managing surprisingly well on his own. Sometimes he’ll need a bit of help with pooping, which is simple with a little guidance—the staff at Tabby’s Place are happy to teach you what’s needed. Aside from his disability, Ilya is healthy and ready for the next chapter. He just needs that special person willing to give him a chance. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
