Dahlia
AvailableDahlia is a medium-sized adult female cat currently thriving in Ringoes, NJ. She is a domestic short hair mix who is house trained and prefers being an only cat. Dahlia is still putting on some much-needed weight after a rough start, and she is looking for a home where she can continue to flourish with plenty of attention and care.
About Dahlia
Dahlia was discovered by a kind farmer among his barn cats, but she clearly wasn’t built for fending for herself outdoors. When she arrived at her rescue, she was dangerously underweight and dehydrated, but she held on long enough to get the care she needed. After some time recovering in the hospital and then in foster, Dahlia is slowly filling out and regaining her energy. These days, she’s partial to spending time on the bed or the windowsill, always wanting to be wherever her humans are. Dahlia is outgoing and chatty—she’ll let you know if she’s curious about what’s behind a closed door. She’s still building up her strength, but being in a loving home with lots of attention (and snacks) will help her thrive. As for other cats, Dahlia isn’t much of a social butterfly and would be happiest as an only cat or in a home where other cats respect her need for space. If you want an affectionate companion and have a soft spot for comeback stories, Dahlia’s got a lot of love and personality to bring to your home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
