Meet Kombangwa! DOB: June 2022 Weight: 19 lbs Disposition: Kombangwa aka KPop is a former street urchin from Thailand who has fully embraced her next chapter as a bit of a diva--on her own terms. She was rescued by Soi Dog after being found wandering the streets with bite wounds, likely having had to fend for herself for quite some time. We believe she may have even had a litter of puppies along the way. That past shows up in her in all the right ways--she's thoughtful, independent, and chooses her people carefully. KPop can be shy at first, but once she picks you, she's all in. She loves attention, melts into belly rubs, and greets her person with real excitement every morning--especially when it's time for her walk. She enjoys long, curious walks where she can stop and smell everything, and after that, she's a calm, quiet companion at home. She rarely, if ever, barks and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate, which she happily goes into on her own. She coexists well with other dogs but doesn't need them. KPop would be perfectly happy as your one and only. She prefers having her person to herself, though she can share if needed. She's not a dog park type--she's more of a "small circle, familiar routine" kind of girl. At around 20 pounds, she's the perfect size--easy to bring along, easy to live with, and content with a balanced routine of walks and downtime. KPop is looking for someone who understands that the best relationships take a little time. She's not the instant-best-friends-with-everyone type--but for the person willing to earn her trust, the bond is incredibly rewarding. History: Kombangwa arrived at Soi Dog Foundation's shelter in June 2025 at the age of three years. She was found abandoned and with dog bites on her hind leg. Kombangwa received supportive care and treatment until her wounds were fully healed. She came to TBL in December 2025 to find her forever family.
