About Courtney Special Girl

Meet sweet Courtney. Courtney is an adorable little Yorkie mix who weighs more than she looks at a sturdy 17 pounds. At around 3 years old, this precious girl has already come a long way on her journey. When Courtney first arrived at Tracy’s Paws, she was extremely fearful and would not allow human handling. While she still feels most comfortable with her dog companions, she has made incredible progress and now allows gentle handling, as you can see in her video. Courtney would truly thrive in a quiet, patient home with another friendly dog to help her continue building confidence. She is what we lovingly call a “project dog” — the kind of dog who needs understanding, compassion, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace. We believe Courtney is absolutely precious and deserves all the love she missed out on early in life. When you look into her eyes and see her smile, it’s clear that she is happy — she simply needs a special home where she can be herself, feel safe, and finally know the unconditional love she deserves. This precious girl is ready for the forever home she deserves—one where she will be cherished, spoiled, and treated the way she always should have been. Courtney is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost.
