About Rey

โœจ REY โœจ Rey is a parvo survivor, a fighter, and one of the sweetest little souls looking for her happily ever after. ๐ŸŒŸ Since sheโ€™s currently in boarding and not a foster home, weโ€™re still learning all the little things that make Rey uniquely her. What we do know is that she deserves so much more than a kennel โ€” she deserves a family. ๐Ÿ’› Young and full of potential ๐Ÿ’› Ready for a foster-to-adopt home ๐Ÿ’› Looking for someone patient and loving to help her settle in and blossom Rey has already overcome one of the toughest starts imaginable. Now she just needs a safe place to land and someone to love her through the next chapter. ๐Ÿพ โ€”โ€”โ€” โœ๐Ÿผ Because of the aftercare that comes with parvo recovery, we are looking for very specific homes to keep both these pups and other dogs safe. ๐Ÿก What weโ€™re looking for: โ€ข Single-family homes with a private outdoor space โ€ข All current pets in the home must be fully vaccinated โ€ข No unvaccinated puppies or young dogs in the home for up to a year โš ๏ธ The hard truth about parvo: Parvo can live in soil for up to 2 years, and recovering puppies may continue shedding the virus in their feces for 2โ€“3 weeks. During that time, they must remain confined to their direct yard and avoid public dog areas.
