Meet April 🤍 April is a regal little mama with the grace of an ancient Egyptian cat and the heart of a survivor. Before rescue, she lived life as a street cat, doing everything she could to keep herself safe until she found a quiet home where she could finally bring her six babies into the world. At first, April was fiercely protective of her kittens and wary of strangers because she had learned the hard way that the world wasn’t always kind. But once she realized she was safe with us, her sweet personality began to shine. She loves being petted, loves being held, adores her people, and never misses a meal. April has worked so hard raising her babies, and is ready to move on now, you can tell she dreams of a peaceful home of her own someday a cozy spot by the window, quiet naps, gentle affection, and all the comforts indoor life has to offer. After surviving life as an alley cat, she has absolutely no desire to go back outside. She’s fully embraced the luxury lifestyle. Because she’s still in protective mama mode, she can be nervous around toddlers and very young children with fast or unpredictable movements, but we believe she’ll continue gaining confidence once her kittens aren’t around and she can finally relax. April is sweet, loving, resilient, and incredibly deserving of a calm home where she can be spoiled the way every hardworking mama should be.
