Hi, I’m Folger- This is the story of my Big Sleepover When the volunteer invited me home, I hopped... okay, got carried... into the car. I’ve got tricks to get what I want, puppy eyes. Once we arrived, I strutted in like I owned the place. I sniffed every corner, approved the couch, and decided the human was acceptable too. Walk time was exciting—I pulled a bit at first because there were SO MANY SMELLS—but then I settled in and pretended I’d been a professional walker my whole life. Back home, the human offered toys, but I preferred a good nap and some ear rubs. (Honestly, why chase a squeaky thing when you can melt into a blanket?) I only had one tiny accident, oops—look, new environments are confusing—and the human forgave me instantly because I perfected the “sweet pittie face.” Then came bedtime. The human was brushing their teeth, and I realized something: I was tired. Extremely tired. So I marched myself to the bedroom, curled up, and put myself to bed. The human laughed, but I was already dreaming of snacks and a forever home. It was the best sleepover ever. I was calm, cozy, and loved—and I’m ready to bring that same gentle, goofy energy to my forever home with endless sleepovers.
