About Kodiak

Kodiak is a nine- to ten-week-old male kitten who has already faced more challenges than most ever will. After a near-fatal accident in a backyard pool, he spent time recovering at an emergency vet, coming to the rescue extremely ill and frightened. Despite all this, he has shown remarkable resilience and pulled through. He’s now looking for a forever home that can offer the patience and safety he needs. Because life hasn’t always been easy, Kodiak is naturally cautious with new people and unfamiliar settings. He clearly wants love and affection, but truly settles in best with a gentle, understanding family who will let him adapt on his terms. Underneath his initial nervousness is a genuinely sweet and vulnerable kitten. A calm, quiet home is ideal, and existing dogs or cats—even better, since he relaxes around confident animal friends. Young children might overwhelm him, so a household without them is recommended. Kodiak is FIV/FeLV tested, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, fecal checked, and comes with a dose of Revolution Plus to get him started right. His neuter, through TCAP, will be covered by the rescue once he’s old enough. Adoption fee and paperwork required. Ready to help Kodiak write a better chapter?
