About Cadbury
Cadbury, or Caddy, is a 1-2 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix who came off the streets of Houston with a friendly and healthy spirit that hardly hints at his stray days. He weighs around 45 lbs and sports a brown, black, and white short coat that catches the eye. After landing in the shelter, he quickly won over volunteers with his calm kennel manners and easy leash walking. Now settled into a foster home, Cadbury shows his playful side and is always up for some backyard fun—but he’s just as happy curling up for a good snuggle. Caddy is food motivated and eager to learn, making him a solid candidate for training even though he’s still learning the ropes. He thrives on adventure but won't turn down a lazy day with his people. He’s known to get along with dogs and children, making him a flexible addition to many households. If you’re looking for a handsome, friendly dog ready to soak up new experiences, Cadbury could be your next companion. Adopters must come to Colorado for a meet-and-greet—no dog transports are available. Adoption is handled through Mile High Canine Rescue in Mead, CO. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
