About Astro

If you like white puppies with speckles, have we got the litter for you! Astro (approximately 15 pounds) and his siblings Elroy, Phineas, Ferb, Candace, & Lilly were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. These pups are so much fun - social, friendly, loving, and always ready for a good time! As you can see in his photos, Astro loves toys just as much as he loves people, and he is ready to play, eat, cuddle, sleep, and repeat. He just turned 3 months old, so he is not yet potty trained, but as he is an intelligent little people pleaser, we think he'll get the idea once he's in a loving home on a consistent schedule with people who take the time to train him. His breed mix is anyone's guess - the previous shelter listed him as a pit bull/cattle dog mix; the entire litter has rear dew claws which could support the cattle dog theory, but rear dew claws also mean there may be Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees in the mix. Whatever the mix, the results are show-stoppingly gorgeous with a personality to match! We suspect that Astro will weigh 58-70 pounds when full grown, but this is not an exact science, so please take it with a grain of salt. Come meet Astro & crew today - they're waiting for you! If you'd like to meet Astro and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
