Aurora is affectionate, playful, and full of energy. She’s quick to form bonds and loves being part of family activities. Her antics are a mix of mischievous charm and endearing loyalty — for example, she’ll alert her humans when her water bowl is empty by sticking her nose under their hand, grabbing their hand, pacing until they notice, or even giving a dramatic “woof” . She’s can be vocal, expressing herself through barks and howls, which adds to her expressive and entertaining nature, she is a great conversationalist who can entertain you with her sparkling gab about the latest gossip in the neighborhood. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters across the country, so sadly we do not have any background information on them.....but we work very hard to get to know each and every dog brought into our program in need of a new beginning in their lives. We do not take animals with aggression problems (some may not like other dogs, cats, or may require older kids as opposed to younger children, but we will let you know everything that we know) most of these beautiful dogs have been faithful and loving family pets for their entire lives, yet still have lost their homes and families through no fault of their own.
