Meet Gambit – The Bat-Eared Goofball with a Big Heart. Gambit is an adorable squatty pitty weighing in at around 35 pounds and about 1 ̋ years old. With his signature bat-like ears and expressive face, he's guaranteed to steal your attention—and your heart. Gambit can be a little nervous when meeting new people and situations, so he'll need a patient adopter willing to give him time to settle in and feel safe. Once he's comfortable, his true personality shines—he's incredibly sweet, playful, and full of love. This boy has lots of energy and absolutely loves toys, so he'll thrive in an active home that can keep him engaged and exercised. He came in with another dog so we feel he may be good with other dogs and a dog test will be required. Due to his sensitivity and need for understanding, we think he'd do best in a home with kids 10+, and we will want the entire family to come to the meet. Gambit is still working on his social skills and is a bit under-socialized, so continued positive exposure and training will go a long way in helping him build confidence. We're unsure how he does with cats, so any introductions should be very slow and carefully managed. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—ready to find his perfect match.
