Meet Fletcher, approximately 1 year old, around 40 lbs, and somehow operating every single day like life is the greatest party he’s ever attended. Fletcher was found emaciated and starving, which honestly feels impossible to believe once you meet him because this boy has absolutely refused to let the world steal his joy. His personality is pure sunshine, chaos, happiness, and “best day ever” energy wrapped into one ridiculously cute dog. He loves other dogs, loves being part of the action, and has the kind of enthusiasm that makes even simple things feel exciting. Going outside? AMAZING. Snacks? LIFE-CHANGING. Existing near people? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. We suspect Fletcher wakes up every morning like a motivational speaker trapped inside a dog’s body. He’s active, playful, hilarious, and fully committed to making sure nobody around him is having a mediocre day. Honestly, Fletcher feels like the type of dog who would accidentally knock over your drink, immediately make eye contact, and somehow still get forgiven because his smile is that powerful. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
