What we know: A litter of four puppies - two males and two females - transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Animal Services Center of Mesilla Valley in New Mexico. They were approximately 2.5 months old at the time of transfer. The puppies were originally surrendered to the shelter from a household when they were just 4 weeks old alongside a pregnant adult dog, though due to their age it is unlikely she was their mother.
