Meet Caleb, a 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with the sweetest soul and the fluffiest best-friend energy. At around 30lbs, Caleb likely won’t get too big, giving you that wonderful guardian breed loyalty and awareness in a much more manageable size. Caleb has been to multiple adoption events and consistently wins people over everywhere he goes. He’s kind, gentle, calm, and incredibly well mannered for such a young dog. He happily greets new people, enjoys attention and pets, and has done wonderfully meeting both adults and children in public settings. He’s also one of those easygoing dogs that just fits into life well. Caleb rides great in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is much quieter and calmer than many puppies his age. While he absolutely enjoys a good romp and play session with his dog friends, he’s equally happy soaking up companionship and being close to his people. Caleb gets along beautifully with every dog he’s met. He plays respectfully, reads other dogs well, and genuinely enjoys having canine friends around. While he doesn’t need another dog in the home, he would absolutely love a playful companion to wrestle, lounge, and grow alongside, whether that’s in his own home or through playdates and outings. With his Anatolian background, Caleb is naturally observant and loyal, and he’s growing into the kind of companion who will quietly stick close to his family and make them feel loved every day.
