About Jethro
Jethro is all personality—an exuberant, social goofball who makes an impression wherever he goes. He’s quick to scoop up his favorite toy, always ready for fetch or a tug of war, and brims with a puppy-like zest for greeting his people with clumsy bounce and a sweeping wag of his tail. Despite his high energy, Jethro has a gentle, cuddly streak and will gladly collapse by your side after outings or playtime. He’s not picky about his company—Jethro gets along with other dogs and has happily played with kids ages 7 and up. This is a confident, friendly guy who craves companionship and does best around people. He’s social, affectionate, and loves the daily flow of activity, but also shows surprising patience and a soft side that comes out when things quiet down. He’s young and still learning, so he may get mouthy or forget his manners when really excited, but his well-meaning enthusiasm is clear and with positive direction and routine, he’s on track to mature into a solid lifelong companion. Jethro’s unique short coat, long legs, and exuberance are hard to resist. He walks nicely on leash, keeps his kennel clean, and is eager for adventures with an adopter who can match his energy and give him lots of love. Jethro is in Monticello, IA, and born under the sign of Taurus—which could be where he gets his reliable, affectionate nature. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
