Reef
AvailableReef is a small, male mixed-breed puppy—likely Labrador Retriever and Spaniel—currently in Hampton, VA. At around 3 months old, he's still very much in his baby stage and learning about the world.
About Reef
Reef and his siblings have been through a lot before landing in safety. Found as tiny strays surviving off roadkill and rainwater in Sussex, these pups only recently learned the comfort of a soft bed and a guaranteed meal. Reef, in particular, is the shyest of the group—he's never far behind his sisters but tends to retreat if approached too quickly. Each of these puppies has a unique personality, shaped by their rough start and now opening up to a world of toys, cool places to nap, and simple joys like chasing a stick. All four stick together, sharing toys and discovering play at their own unsure but hopeful pace. Reef is about 11 weeks old and reported healthy—ready to start the next chapter. The Animal Aid Society asks adopters to be within a 40-mile radius for post-adoption support. Give him and his siblings a look if you want a pup who will remind you what resilience looks like. They can't wait to meet you each morning between 9 and noon, 365 days a year. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
