Jay was brought to ACCT by a kind stranger when they saw him outside, and suspected he was sick, but they didn't hesitate to note how friendly he was. He arrived at the shelter previously altered, and suffering from severe dental disease. Jay has no issue chowing down on churu, but his mouth is painful, and he urgently needs to leave with a rescue that can provide dental work and extractions in order to maintain a good quality of life. In his kennel, Jay is eager to approach anyone who passes by, and even more eager for snacks. Despite his discomfort, Jay has allowed multiple physical exams and multiple people to look into his mouth. We suspect that once Jay has his dental issues addressed, he will be more than happy to begin an indoor life where he can soak up all the attention that's offered.
