Meet Dogwood, the most chill kitten you might ever meet. But he is also quite energetic and is the instigator of much play in his litter of five. He is affectionate, playful, loves to be held and has a killer purr. He is a short-haired “mackerel” tabby, with striped markings, and is a big boy, by far the biggest in his litter – he is going to be a big, handsome guy with a big personality to match! He is approximately three months old. Dogwood would be a great addition to any cat-loving home, with a young cat buddy for a playmate. Or, if there is room in your home and heart, he has a very sweet and equally playful brother and sister, Alder and Sitka Spruce who are also posted for adoption. They would make a fabulous threesome to fill your home with joy and love. He is a good eater and has perfect litter box skills. Though he is healthy now, he had a rough beginning and came from a litter with calicivirus. His symptoms were very mild (occasional sneezing) but, in times of stress, symptoms may recur, as the calicivirus is persistent. If you have questions about calicivirus, a common virus among cats, we are happy to answer them as part of the “meet and greet”. What Dogwood is looking for in a home: - He needs an already established resident feline friend close to his age to play with and model good cat manners. (Maybe his brother and siter?!!) - He has lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time. - He needs to live indoors only. - He has no known history with other cats - He has no known history with dogs. - He has no known history with children, All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Alley Cat Project adoption fees are: - $200 per cat or kitten - $350 for pair of cats or kittens - $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old) - Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care - Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts Thank you for your interest in Dogwood!
