Meet Alder and Sitka Spruce, a brother/sister pair who are both champion cuddlebugs and who purr whenever you so much as look at them. They are playful and energetic and provide non-stop laughs. Both are short-haired; Alder, the boy, is a “classic” tabby with swirly markings and Sitka Spruce, the girl, is a “mackerel” tabby with striped markings. They are approximately three months old. This pair is off the top of the sweetness scale and would love to entertain you and provide lots of good snuggles. And, if there is room in your home and heart, they have an equally sweet brother, Dogwood (also posted for adoption), who would increase the fun factor by at least 50%!! Both are good eaters and have perfect litter box skills. Though they are all healthy now, they had a rough beginning and came from a litter with calicivirus. Their symptoms were mild (occasional slight congestion and weepy eyes) but, in times of stress, symptoms may recur, as the calicivirus is persistent. If you have questions about calicivirus, a common virus among cats, we are happy to answer them as part of the “meet and greet”. What Alder and Sitka Spruce are looking for in a home: - They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair (or a threesome!). - They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time. - They need to live indoors only. - They have no known history with other cats - They have no known history with dogs. - They have no known history with children, All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
