About Hazel
Hazel is a striking 2-year-old tortoiseshell with a medium coat who found herself in need of a new beginning after living in a crowded household. She arrived at the Amador Animal Control Shelter nervous and unsure, thought at first to be feral. APAL stepped in to help, and Hazel was paired up with Harper, a younger Dilute Calico, in one cage. The challenge of a new environment brought the two cats together; now they’re inseparable, spending their days nestled up side by side. With time and patience, Hazel revealed her gentle side—she’s genuinely affectionate once she feels safe and welcomes gentle pets if approached quietly. She would thrive in a patient home, ideally with Harper by her side. Hazel has a lot of love to give and is ready for someone who will show her the comfort and stability she deserves. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
