Date of birth: 8/14/25 They are finally coming around. Olivia now being shyer than Jasper, but she is loving to be pet after an initial hesitation, she doesn’t want you to stop. Her scratches on her face have resolved and her hair finally grown back. I think if they were the only 2 kitties and someone is willing to be patient with them having a slower acclimation time to a new environment they are going to be super sweet affectionate kitties. Both are small with Olivia bordering on tiny - they are now probably 9-10 mos old. They’ve had all their shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped. They especially love their wet food but also chomp away at their kibbles. Their back story, they are from Boyle Heights and were brought to Dr Garcia on President’s Day in the pouring rain when someone saw them and thought they looked sick. Both were covered in fleas, had scratched themselves raw. Jasper had multiple large areas of missing hair and abrasion sores. Olivia’s face was horribly scratched up and actually took longer to heal and regrow her hair than Jasper, who actually looked worse in the beginning. They were pretty skittish and only reason I think they could be handled at all was because they felt so bad. I would only want them adopted as a pair. Jasper the larger one with long hair, both now have beautiful coats.
