About Alexa
Alexa arrived as a stray from New Mexico and has a careful, gentle nature, especially when meeting new people. She tends to lay low or find a quiet spot if she feels uneasy, but as she settles in and trusts you, she shows her warm side—sometimes sidling up on the couch for attention or offering a gentle nudge with her paws for affection. Stuffed toys and treats bring out her playful side, and her strong love of snacks makes training straightforward. She’s kennel trained and finds comfort curling up in her own little den of blankets. Alexa needs a home with at least one other confident, friendly dog as she thrives with canine companionship and looks to them for reassurance and cues. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, house trained, and there’s no doubt she bonds deeply with her people. Alexa does not get along with cats but is great with other dogs. She weighs about 20lbs and is around a year and a half old. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
