About Teddy
Teddy has come a long way from when he first arrived in rescue after surviving injuries, neglect, and serious health issues. Today, he is a completely different dog: healthy, lively, and eager to love. Teddy is happiest lounging in the sun, playing with toys or hanging with his pack in the backyard, and especially curling up as close as possible to his humans—he seems to think he’s a 75-pound lap dog. His time in foster care has taught him excellent house manners, and he’s both crate and house trained. He gets along well with other dogs and gravitates toward children, showing a soft spot for his foster mom’s grandkids. While Teddy is a bit wary in new situations, patience and gentle introductions help him settle in, and soon he’ll be seeking affection from guests. Teddy would do best in a calm home with people who are patient and ready to let him acclimate at his own pace. He'd thrive with a dog buddy or could be happy as the only dog. He should not be in a home with cats. Teddy has had a tough start but is ready for a loving, stable home that will let his happy, goofy self shine. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
