With each age as their world becomes bigger and they become more curious and their bodies are changing so may the things I thought they learned. (ie a 5 year old that is so happy to please you, to the teenager who wants to experience everything and you are being controlling and mean when you don't). I have never had puppies, so I don't know. But I hope anyone wanting to add them to their family will expect a puppy that needs attention and repetition; that even just the new environment will pose an adjustment. I also have an older dog and a 4 month puppy who are being exposed to each other and setting an example that I think will be key in their development.
