You'll never get bored with Salem around! This goofball is always up to something, and he would love to have you join him. Salem loves making human friends but can be a little rough for small children. He can get a bit rambunctious during playtime, so best to keep an extra close eye on any tiny hands and fingers that come his way! Salem does not have any experience living with other animals, so a slow introduction is recommended to allow for a safe and comfortable adjustment period for all animals involved. Salem was initially brought to PARL with a pre-existing wound that has since been treated and is fully healed. He has some residual scarring on his face and neck, but we think that just adds to his air of mystery! Since we don't know the cause of the initial wound, Salem must follow Wound of Unknown Origin confinement protocols for six months. It sounds intimidating, but our staff can guide you on what that means for Salem and potential adopters!
