He was surrendered to a KY Shelter, with his litter, and they were said to be Newfoundland/Herding Breed pups. Sadly, he was the only black one of his litter and the rest were all scooped up while Hudson remained. The shelter asked- can you help him? He deserves a chance. How terrible that he watched his siblings go and remained alone, so we said OF COURSE. And we are glad that we did. We are suspect on the “Newfy” although he has some size and fluff, and definitely has herding breed roots because he is a smart boy. He is crate trained, very social, loves other dogs, and is said to be a joy in his foster home. He is active and not for a home looking for a “couch potato” but does have an off switch, likes to cuddle and is great in his crate!
