About Mochi
Mochi is a four-year-old, spayed female pit bull terrier living with her foster in Queen City, TX. Abandoned as a tiny pup, she was bottle-fed and had a rough start but grew up strong and athletic. Her first home was with a young couple who adopted her and her brother, but after their divorce, Mochi ended up back with her foster family. She is intelligent, learns commands quickly, and genuinely wants to please her people—she’ll even show remorse when corrected. Mochi is extremely reactive to other animals and must be the only dog in her home. She does not get along with cats or other dogs (other than her brother), and needs a secure, fenced yard. She is gentle with humans and protective of her foster mom but should not live with small children. Car rides, harness walks, and bird-chasing are some of her favorite things. Dog parks and group play aren’t for her. Mochi’s sun sign is Taurus, so expect a loyal and steady companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Mochi
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Mochi, as a pit bull terrier, does best in a home with structure and clear boundaries. She will thrive with patient owners who can provide a secure and loving environment, preferably with a fenced yard.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Mochi would appreciate a good-sized, securely fenced yard for regular exercise. Pit bull terriers benefit from daily outdoor activity, but don't require acres—consistency and time outside matter more than sheer space.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While pit bull terriers like Mochi can be gentle with humans, Mochi is best suited to a home without small children, given her reactivity and need for structure.
