About Joker
Joker is a young, large, mixed breed Pit Bull Terrier with a black and white coat and a gentle, reserved temperament. Heās looking for a patient family that will allow him the time and space to feel safe and comfortable. Joker will be microchipped and neutered soon, and heās ready for his next chapter. This one-year-old walks politely on a leash, knows a few basic commands, and appears to be house trained, though an occasional accident might happen as he transitions home. Joker can be shy when meeting new people, but once he feels secure, his gentle side starts to shine for those he trusts. He does best with a medium activity level and a quieter home; loud or unpredictable environments could be stressful for him. Joker is recommended for households with kids age 10 and up, simply because first meetings make him nervous, but case-by-case exceptions may be possible for younger children. He gets along with other dogs. Joker would do well with owners who understand that trust can take time but is well worth the effort. Fun fact: Joker's birthday makes him a Taurus, so a steady routine will help him blossom. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
