About Gin

You can apply for Gin at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. ❤ï ̧ Gin is a handsome Domestic Medium Hair orange male kitten born approximately February 2, 2026. He and his 5 siblings were rescued from Miami-Dade Animal Services because they had an upper respiratory infection, and a rescue please was sent out. Gin had a rough beginning that differs from his siblings. After a few days of being rescued and seeing the vet, everyone was put on antibiotics. One day poor Gin was breathing odd and was taking to the emergency vet. We found out he had aspirational pneumonia and on top of it, megaesophagus (ME). He did not have the clinical signs of ME so we put him on a special medication and hoped it was just situational. A few weeks went by and we did new x-rays that confirmed he no longer had the ME and we could take him off the meds. Our vet signed off on him getting neutered and that he was back to being a normal kitten! Gin is a very sweet and gentle kitten. He loves playing with his siblings and is always the first one to eat the canned food when its placed down. Maybe that’s why is the biggest of the litter! He looks identical to his twin brother “Whisky”. He has a big purr motor – that you can’t resist!. If you lie down on the bed, he’ll come over for pets and attention—he truly loves affection. He loves her siblings and is used to being in a large group of kittens, so we would love it if she was adopted with one of her siblings or if you already have another pet in the house. Gin is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and has age-appropriate vaccinations. He is litter box trained and is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL.
