Meet our lovely little Miss Callie! She is a tiny 3-year-old poodle/dachshund mix, just 6 pounds, with a gentle heart. If you have an empty lap, open arms and a calm household she will warm up quickly and be your perfect little companion. Callie came to us shy and unsocialized with people but with time, patience and gentle love from her foster mama she is blossoming! Her perfect home will give her time and understanding to trust and she will warm up into a sweet cuddle bug who loves laps, couch time and sleeping close to her people. She’s potty pad trained, is fine in a puppy pen and hard at work on crate training. She is also working on transitioning outside to potty since her fear is lessening every day! This little doll gets along great with dogs of all sizes and cats. We think Callie would especially thrive with another dog in the home to show her how to be a dog and gain confidence. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
