Meet Edie — a gentle soul looking for her forever home. Edie is a 5-year-old, 14 lb Miniature Aussiedoodle with the sweetest disposition you'll ever find in a small dog. She came from an Amish breeding situation and is now ready to blossom in a loving home of her own. Edie is the kind of dog who will melt your heart once she trusts you — and she will trust you, she just needs a little patience getting there. She's not aggressive in the slightest; she's simply a sensitive girl who takes her time warming up, and the reward for that patience is a devoted, affectionate companion who lives for cuddles and gentle pets. A few things that make Edie special: • Nearly perfectly potty trained — just a couple of accidents early on, and she's been a champ ever since • Gets along well with cats • Dog-friendly with calm, similarly-sized dogs • Non-aggressive — her only agenda is love • The ultimate low-key companion — Edie has zero interest in toys and is happiest lounging on the couch or curled up in her bed. If you've ever wanted a dog who matches your Netflix-and-chill energy, she's your girl. Edie's ideal home would be a quieter environment — someone living alone, a calm adult household, or a home with a mellow cat or small dog. She hasn't spent time around young children, but she could potentially do well with an older child who understands how to move slowly and let her come to them on her own terms.
