Dinger, Male, 1 year old, 49 pounds Dashing Dinger! This guy has just arrived and is such a fun dog! He’s young, active, and energetic - and will make a wonderful new companion! Our Dinger really knocks it out of the park! He makes a lovable companion! His goal in life is to be someone's wagging shadow because he just loves being as close as possible. He is a total lap dog and super snuggly, eager to lean in or sprawl next to his person. He has a sensitive side but tries to be brave, and draws comfort from affection and proximity to a friend. Dinger also likes to have fun - he's a hoot with toys and can be quite playful! He is also curious and enjoys exploring on walks. When he's feeling silly, he might get a little bouncy or offer a goofy play bow in the cutest way! With other dogs in play group, he has also been social, getting more playful with time. Dinger is a well-rounded fella who definitely belongs in a home. He already knows how to sit and give paw and he takes his treats nicely. He's a pup of simple pleasures - as long as his future family can give him lots of pets, he will be happy! Looking for a great young dog to take on daily adventures? Dinger is a must see! No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
