Quinn, or Greta Garbo as she's affectionately known, landed in rescue after a shelter drop-off with the story that she's 14—but her foster thinks she's got plenty more years in her. She's agile, quick, and easily outpaces the younger Boston in her foster home. Her favorite place is her crate; she took her time adjusting but now seeks out its safety, especially after a little excitement. Puppies aren't her thing—she finds their antics irritating and isn't shy about letting them know. Around mealtime, she becomes chatty and eager. Despite her reported age, Quinn jumps onto couches, spins on her back legs when happy, and soaks up the routine of home life. Her greatest pleasure, though, is a good nap and a sunbeam. She has cataracts, so sudden movements from behind can startle her, but she bounces back quickly. Outdoors, she enjoys sniffing around the yard and lounging in the sunshine. She's clever enough that she might figure out how to ring the bell to be let out. Her coat is very soft, and her calm, gentle ways stand out. Quinn is house-trained, crate-trained, and content to share space with other dogs and cats, though she's not particularly interested in either. Kids haven't been tested, but there's no reason to think she wouldn't be fine. Toys don't capture her attention; downtime and quiet companionship do.
