How Miso arrived:Miso was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on May 1, 2026. Why Miso is the one for you:Miso is a sensitive little guy with big feelings and a truly sweet side that blossoms once he knows he can trust you. Give him a moment to take in new people, and he often warms up; then you will see his happy wag, gentle pet seeking, and adorable excitement about heading out on leash. Like his namesake, Miso starts out a bit cautious, then becomes comfortingly cozy when you let things simmer at his pace. He will do best in a calmer home with a predictable routine and kind, consent-based handling, meaning no forced hugs or raucous play, and always allowing him the option to move away or come closer on his own. Children should be 8 and up and meet him before adoption, and if there is another dog in the home, a dog meet is needed to be sure everyone feels good together. Miso could also use a little support getting back to a healthier weight and would benefit from a dental check. Please bring a leash & collar when adopting.
