About Max
Max has been loving his first taste of indoor life after a year spent outside. He’s a friendly, playful, and loving boy still finding his confidence, and he’s happiest with a steady routine and plenty of reassurance. Max is totally toy obsessed—he’ll chase or fetch for ages, and his energy is just about average for a mixed-breed dog. Once he feels safe, he’ll happily cuddle up. Right now, he sleeps every night in his large crate and will take himself there for naps during the day. Max gets along well with other dogs, though he’s still learning to share toys. He isn’t a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is best. He’s already learned “Sit,” rides well in the car, and is adjusting quickly to life inside. After life on the streets, he’s receiving excellent veterinary care (he’s vaccinated, dewormed, and being treated for Lyme disease). Ideally, Max would have a securely fenced yard to run off some energy, but he’ll thrive with any patient, understanding foster ready to help him keep growing. Ready to meet your new best friend?
