Max Needs a Foster Home ASAP! We're looking for a compassionate foster home for Max, a sweet guy who has been living outside for the last year and is finally getting his first taste of real home life. About Max: Max is a loving, friendly, and playful boy with average energy. He's still a little nervous and out of his element and really thrives on reassurance and routine. He loves being outside to run around, playing with toys (he's very toy-motivated!), and snuggling once he feels safe. He knows “Sit,” enjoys car rides, and is doing great adjusting to indoor life. He is currently using a large crate and is loving it. He sleeps in his crate at night and uses it as his place to relax when he's ready to nap! He is dog friendly but is working on possessiveness over his toys He is not a big fan of cats, so we think he'd do best in a home without them for now! Health Update: Max just saw the vet. He's up to date on Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper vaccines, has been dewormed and flea-treated, and is currently on a month-long course of antibiotics for Lyme disease. Max is ready to continue learning and growing in a patient, understanding home. A securely fenced yard would be ideal so he can safely burn off energy, but we're open to the right fit!
