Little Miss Gertrude is a treasure! She gets on really well with other pups, she has met 10+ dogs while in my care and she is friends with them all. She attempted to make friends with my outside cat, Puss said 'no thanks', Gertrude respected that. This lady has no aggression in her, she wants to please and responds well to commands and loves praise. I have crated her for a couple of hours every day, she does not bark or cry. I have not heard her bark at all. She enjoys sniffing around my enclosed yard. She does not chase the passing squirrels. She likes cuddles and being held and she loves toys. The tightly sewn, hardy plushies, with the squeak inside. She will eat at meal times, she respects routine. She is house trained and will go potty (both) fairly quickly when we go outside. She walks well on a leash. She has not tried to escape my yard, but super-vigilance is always advisable with a new doggo. This gentle lady would do great in a home with another playful young pup, or with someone who has time to give her lots of love and affection.
