SOLAR SYSTEM THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. & growing Hello, I’m Neptune! My siblings and I were found without our momma underneath a car by a good citizen. Fortunately, Mostly Mutts was able to take us into their program and, in pairs, get us into a couple of wonderful foster homes. We have now reunited and are living in the Kitty Aquarium at the shelter. It is time to find a family to rescue, so if you need some kitty love — I’m your girl! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with my sibling who shared my foster home and am looking forward to the whole crew being reunited in the Kitty Aquarium! I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / I ‘met’ the dog in my former foster home through the gate and was not fazed by her. It will likely depend on the dog, but if you a have kitty-friendly doggie at home, we can probably be pals. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and — of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My former foster describes me as ‘a dainty little girl’ — affectionate and loving. I used to be quite tiny — all paws, whiskers, and determination. I stayed a lightweight for so long, but I didn’t mind. I was too busy climbing mountains made of throw pillows, bouncing from cushion to cushion. My kitten-savvy foster left out pillows just for us kittens, and I took my job very seriously: leap, tumble, scramble, repeat. Now I’ve finally had my big growth spurt. My legs are strong, my jumps are powerful, and I carry myself with confidence. But no matter how big I get, I’m still your baby. Pick me up and I’ll melt right into your arms, even upside down like a human baby, paws curled softly against my chest while I soak up every cuddle. I trust you completely. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Let’s face it — your lap is my favorite place in the world, and if you stop petting me too soon, I’ll remind you with the sweetest little stare until you keep going. Climbing, tumbling and playing with my sibling is great fun. I look forward to lots of play (and cuddle sessions) in my new home! / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet spayed due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only. I am looking for a home where I will be a much-loved family member! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
