His rich character comes from his Taurus roots, known for loyalty and persistence.

About Corky

Corky is a neutered male pit bull mix who will turn 4 in May, making him a true Taurus—steady, loyal, and stubborn with a soft heart. He was abandoned as a puppy and raised with his sister, both becoming fast learners and eager to please. After a rough patch with his adopters, Corky found himself back in foster care. He’s grown attached to his foster mom and is a shameless cuddler, happiest when he’s the star of the show. His corkscrew tail fits his name, and his personality stands out too: Corky is smart, works for treats, loves heading out on walks in his harness, and soaks up attention at home. He’s animal reactive and must be an only dog. Corky doesn’t do well in homes with cats, small children, or dog parks—in fact, other animals aren’t an option for him, beside his sister. He’s never shown aggression to people and thrives in environments where he can be the center of affection and have a fenced yard to roam. House training is a work in progress but his loyalty and eagerness to connect make investing in him worth it. He’s currently in Queen City, TX. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
