About Juneau
Juneau and her sister Kuma arrived as strays, but both have quickly shown just how much fun life can be when there’s room to play. Juneau has a little more presence—she’s the bigger of the pair and tends to take the lead—but she’s all about games and new friends. She’s very friendly with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good sprint or wrestling match. At about 7 to 10 months old, Juneau is still a puppy at heart and brimming with energy, so she needs more than a fenced yard: she needs someone ready to channel that working drive into training and real teamwork. Juneau has never had formal obedience or house manners, so her new family should be prepared to help her build those skills from the ground up. Play is her love language, and those who engage her will see her greatest qualities shine. Juneau gets along well with dogs and children, making her a great fit for active homes. A secure outdoor space and a willingness to meet her in person are musts for adoption. She won’t be shipped out of state, so local homes are her focus. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
