Meet Severide! This 8-year-old, 11lb black domestic shorthair spent his life traveling the world with his former owner, who worked as a diplomat at various US Embassies. His owner recently fell ill and is not able to care for him or his siblings any longer. Severide is a beautiful short haired black cat with small touches of white on his underside. He is a cat who loves to eat, really, LOVES to eat! His previous owner spoiled him, but through foster care his weight is back to a healthier level. He can still be given treats, just in moderation. He enjoys his toys, and would benefit in having a scratching board or two around to help with his claws. He is also a somewhat vocal cat, calling out to get attention for whatever his needs are at the moment. Severide is still adjusting to his new environment and living situation, so his love language is still being explored. He is being fostered in Staten Island, NY and his adoption fee is $100. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested.
