It was as though the human/canine bark park roles were exchanged where the human was the one gifted with appreciation and gratitude at the lifeforce and inner spirit of Kylo as they shared their adventure in the park. More than just wanting to please, seven-month-old Kylo performed what was written into his being as he bonded one-on-one with the chosen human who was trying to figure out who was really there, wearing the beautifully patterned dog costume. There is truly something very special about a dog named Kylo whose energies let you instantly know that the unconditional love in his heart is real and is given without any thought of reward or recompense. The end of the photo session arrived much too quickly. As the human sat to compose the bio, Kylo laid down closely, touching his paw to the shoe of his bark park friend. The gesture reached into the human’s mind and quieted the thoughts that talk incessantly. It was as though time stood still and we had fallen into a dream that one wishes would never end. Every interaction between a canine and a human are differently experienced, but this afternoon encounter was one never to be forgotten.
