About Mash

Meet MASH! Mash (aka Mashed Potato) is 4 months old and 20.6 lbs. Best guess on breed is a shepherd mix + many other breeds! He’s a typical island dog Sato! We named him Mash because his coloring looks like a mashed potato and also because “Do You Love Me?” by the Hollies! Yes, yes, we do! Mash is really such a sweet boy who is all tail wags and kisses. He is great with other dogs and is currently being fostered with several other dogs of varying ages and sizes currently and is good with them! He’s also great with kids! Energy wise, he had medium to high energy (6-7 on a scale of 1-10). He’d be a great walking or light hiking buddy! He has seen a veterinarian and is appropriately vaccinated. He’s ready to go! ***Mash is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will only fly to his forever home once adopted! We are open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast.*** Please feel free to email us with any questions about him! We are a small boutique rescue and respond promptly. Your email will not get lost! The best fit for the dog is our priority. Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog. In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
